How it works

FOR SELLERS/RENTERS:
  • NOTE - ALL Sellers must have a Kanoo App account or a local bank account with either RBC, First Caribbean, Bank of the Bahamas, Commonwealth Bank, Scotia Bank, or Fidelity in order to receive payouts.
  • Press the Chat icon to contact the Admin 
  • Provide the Admin with the following info to setup your vendor account:
    • Name
    • E-mail address
    • Mobile number
    • Location (Street Name, Island)
    • NOTE: PMP does not accept vendors from outside of the Bahamas
  • The Admin will create your account and send you an email for confirmation.
  • Open the e-mail and press "CONFIRM" to complete the setup.

TO SELL OR RENT YOUR PRODUCT
  • Once logged in select "Post a Listing"
  • Select a category for the product from the pull down menu
  • Provide a "Listing Title"
    • this will be displayed in bold below your product photo
  • Set your price for the product
    • price set must include 6% for banking and commission fees
    • when the product is sold, the fees will be deducted and the balance forwarded to the seller the following business day
  • Provide a product description
    • state the brand and model
    • is it new or used?
    • if used, identify any damage, scratches, etc..
    • provide any additional information that would be helpful to the buyer
  • Provide the approximate location for the product to be picked up from
    • use the map to select a location by clicking on it
    • a red pin will appear on the map at the location selected
    • you can provide the driver with more details when your product is sold or rented
  • Upload several photographs of the actual product
    • photos should provide multiple views to clearly illustrate the product
    • photos should be well lit 
  • Click on "Post Listing" to complete post. The listing will be immediately viewable on the marketplace.
  • Once a Buyer submits payment to PMP for the product, the Seller will be notified
  • A PMP agent will be dispatched to collect the product from the Seller and deliver to the Buyer
    • TIP: to make pickup easier, edit your profile to include your cell phone number for the agent to contact you
  • Upon Buyer acceptance, funds will be paid out to the Seller's account the following business day.
  • Message the PMP Admin using the Chat icon, to provide bank account or Kanoo account information to receive payments


FOR BUYERS:
  • "Log-in" if you have an account or "Sign-up" to create an account
  • Browse through listings to select a product
  • Once selected, the detailed description and additional uploaded photos will be displayed
  • Click the "Buy" or "RENT"button
    • for Rentals you must first select the dates
  • Enter your information for delivery (please provide a phone number for the delivery driver to reach you)
  • Delivery fee of $6 is applied to all purchases
  • PROCEED TO PAYMENT
  • Make payment via Kanoo Pays App or Cash on Delivery
  • an agent will be dispatched to pickup the product from the SELLER and deliver to the BUYER
  • Follow the agent in real-time by clicking on the link emailed to you
  • Upon receipt of the product:
    • inspect the product to confirm it is correct
    • Due to Covid-19 a signature will NOT be collected
    • Instead, the agent will stand 6ft back and take a photograph of the package being collected
    • Provide a review of the Seller and the delivery agent
